Elbert County Extension is proud to announce we have a new Ag/4-H Livestock Agent.

Kali Benson will join our staff effective November 1st. Please watch for a detailed press release. Kali Benson will be attending several community events the end of October where you may be introduced to her. We will hold an official Meet and Greet Open House at the Extension office on Tuesday, November 4, from 4p.m. to 7 p.m.


Master Food Safety Advisors
and
Master Gardener Certified Volunteers:

Elbert County Certified Volunteers are in classes during the winter months. They are available to service clients at the Extension office March through October. During winter months they volunteer on an on-call basis.

Master Gardener office hours are:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 1 p.m to 4 p.m.
March thru October.

ELBERT COUNTY 4-H FALL ENROLLMENT opens in October and closes on December 31.

including the list of 4-H Community Clubs.

4-H families may go into their profile online and make changes to (EDIT) their own projects and literature selections up until December 31.
After December 31 through April 1, you will need to complete the add/drop form and the Extension office will have to go into a members’ record to make project changes.
